Albert Einstein Vector

This is my vector creation of Albert Einstein. When choosing my person, I wanted to have someone who is very famous and recognizable.

Men's Health Magazine

This is a design for Men's Health magazine. I wanted to give the Men's Health look, but with a twist. I thought it would be humorous to use Will Ferrell. So I found this picture then placed it on the front of the magazine. I tried to mimic the font and colors usually found on the front of Men's Health.

Wired Magazine

This is a magazine design for Wired. I found an article celebrating 10 years of the IMAC, so I got the idea to create my own vector IMAC then place it on the front of the magazine.

Sprint Packaging

This is the design I created for the packaging on a Sprint phone box. The phone is the Instinct. This was created using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

The thought process behind this packaging was to keep Sprint's modern look with a new twist. To keep the box recognizable to Sprint I chose to use all black yellow and white. I wanted to use paint drips instead of the usual Sprint twirls so I could have a personal addition to the Sprint packaging. I also wanted to add the touch buttons since that was such an important feature on the phone.

Personal Business Card

This is the business card I designed for myself to use professionally. This was created using Adobe Illustrator.

The thought process behind this piece was to have an eye catching piece that is still visually appealing and practical. I used the same colors as my logo to keep a clean look. For the front I tilted the logo and ran some off the page for a modern look that is eye catching. On the back I placed the logo on the opposite side of the information to keep a balanced look (opposite of the front). I placed a single line in the middle to separate yet combine the information and logo.

Personal Logo

This is the personal logo I created for myself to use professionally. This was created in Adobe Illustrator.

The thought process behind this logo was trying to throw a modern twist on a professional and clean look. I wanted a font that was very intense and eye catching and I feel I established that in this logo. I wanted to keep the clean and professional look so I put clean borders around each box, then another border keeping it all together. I feel that gave the piece an over-all clean look.

Since the font was so intense, I chose to make the colors behind the the letters more soft so it would not be too intense over-all. Those are also two colors that I enjoy using in my work, so it will give my work some visual identity.

This is a dynamic logo where the colors can be changed to incorporate the colors of a specific project.

Picasso's Logo

This is the logo I created for "Picasso's Slice of Pie." This logo was created entirely in Adobe Illustrator.

The thought process behind this piece was to incorporate the city of Chicago (where Picasso's was established). The skyline is representing Chicago, with the quick brush strokes giving the logo a modern look as well as playing on the name "Picasso's" I felt that this piece gave the classic pizza place look with a much needed modern twist.
I chose to use the "Italian" red and green to make people think pizza and hunger.

Picasso's Business Card

This is a business card created for "Picasso's Slice of Pie." This was created in Adobe Illustrator.

The thought process behind this design came when I was trying to think "outside the box." Then I got the idea to literally make the business card the outside of a pizza box. I added the fold marks to make it more clear to people who would not recognize the outside shape of a pizza box.
